INDIA’S CDS GENERAL BIPIN RAWAT DIED IN CRASH CDS General Bipin Rawat General Bipin Rawat Chief of Defence Staff of Indian armed forces passed away in a chopper crash. At 12:20 pm the chopper crashed in Coonor Tamil Nadu. The crash took place 10 km from the helipad site.  IAF Mi-17V5 chopper crashed According to the reports, the IAF Mi-17V5 chopper took off from Sulur Airforce Station with 14 passengers on board, Bipin Rawat his spouse Madhulika Rawat and other senior officers to Wellington. Bipin Rawat was on his way to Defence Service Staff College DSSC, Wellington to deliver a lecture to students. General Bipin Rawat 63 years is India’s first Chief of Defence Staff appointed on 30th December 2019. 65th DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF BABASAHEB Mahaparinirvana Diwas is celebrated on 6th December every year to remember the death anniversary of Dr.BR.
